Jubileusz XXXV-lecia Muzeum Sportu i Turystyki w Karpaczu

Z okazji XXXV- lecia Muzeum Sportu i Turystyki w Karpaczu instytucji Kultury Samorządu Województwa Dolnośląskiego otwarto wystawę fotografii pt. "Karkonosze", na którą składają się wyjątkowo unikalne prace 18 fotografików z regionu jeleniogórskiego wykonane w ostatnich 50 latach.
Ekspozycja ta kończy cykl wystaw na jubileusz Muzeum zorganizowanych pod honorowym patronatem Przewodniczącego Sejmiku Województwa Dolnośląskiego.
W uroczystości otwarcia wystawy wziął udział poseł na Sejm Marcin Zawiła, przedstawiciel Urzędu Marszałkowskiego Województwa Dolnośląskiego oraz władze powiatu jeleniogórskiego i miasta Karpacz.
Listy gratulacyjne przesłali: Marszałek województwa Dolnośląskiego Marek Łapiński, Przewodniczący Sejmiku Województwa Dolnośląskiego Jerzy Pokój, Przewodnicząca Komisji Rozwoju turystyki, Sportu i Rekreacji Sejmiku Województwa Dolnośląskiego Elżbieta Zakrzewska, Starosta Jeleniogórski Jacek Włodyga. Zarząd Główny Polskiego Towarzystwa Turystyczno- Krajoznawczego przyznał z tej okazji Muzeum Sportu i Turystyki w Karpaczu medal PTTK za pomoc i współpracę.
Przy okazji jubileuszu warto odnotować, iż Muzeum w Karpaczu w minionym okresie zorganizowało ponad sto wystaw czasowych prezentowanych w kraju i za granicą, a zbiory muzealne w Karpaczu oglądało ponad 1 milion 300 tysięcy zwiedzających.
