Lower Silesia Regional Office in Brussels has been operating since 2001 – first as the Association of Lower Silesia in the European Union and since 2004 as a budget entity financed entirely by the Lower Silesia Marshal's Office.

Priorities for actions

The role of the Lower Silesia Regional Office in Brussels is an effective representation of the Region’s interests as well as support to the efficient use of the EU membership.

Key strategic axes of the Office activity

 • ongoing monitoring of EU policies that impact the region e.g. the EU cohesion policy, the Trans-European Transport Network TEN-T, Common Agriculture Policy (CAP), European energy policy, Research and Development policy

•    lobbying for the Lower Silesia region in the EU institutions in selected areas, sharing information and services among groups having a common interest, through the participation in various networks e.g. Lower Silesian Club

•   Support of regional partners in the acquisition of the EU sectoral funds and their promotion in Brussels
